Though Kanan technically belongs to the congresswoman's daughter, Rep. Lawrence is still very close with the miniature goldendoodle. Kanan visits Reep. Lawrence at the office, and is so cute he was a finalist in the annual "Cutest Pet on Capitol Hill" contest.
