Doug the Pug is ready for Halloween! In a video posted to Instagram last Oct. 1, Doug can be seen sitting on the couch all cosy under a white sheet — or so it seems. His owner pulls away the sheet — at the same time as The Nightmare Before Christmas's "This Is Halloween" starts playing — to reveal Doug in a full pumpkin costume surrounded by copious amounts of Halloween candy (which we're sure he wishes he could eat, but alas, he can't).
The video is short but powerful in the eyes of all of us who consider Oct. 1 the beginning of a month-long Halloween celebration (yes, we're the same people who start decorating for Christmas now, too). Happy October Halloween to you and yours from us and ours — and from Doug, of course.
