In June, the weather in Cusco dries up, and the crowds lessen, making it a great time to visit. There are several festivals throughout June, including Inti Raymi, also known as the Festival of the Sun that takes place on June 24. While you're there, take a trip three hours outside of Cusco to see the Rainbow Mountain.
