How did we ever live in a world without GIFs? How did we share our emotions or feelings without these little moving words and pictures? GIFs are fun and easy but have a big impact, and they can really skyrocket your Insta game. Using GIFs on your Stories let's you get across your personality and humour, which can also connect you more with your audience.
If you've never tapped into the GIF feature on Instagram before, don't worry, we'll show you how. Add your image or video to your Story, then swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or click the little icon that looks like a sticker with a smiley face on it), and you will see a frosted panel cover most of your image or video. In the panel, there will be a search box at the top, and all you have to do is type a term ("Summer" or "funny," for example) and all the GIFs relating to that word will appear. You can be as specific or generic with your searching as you like. Click the GIF you want, and it will appear in your story. You add as many as you like, and play around with sizing and placement, too.
