Ben Affleck, George Clooney, and Anne Hathaway were having a great time mingling with their Hollywood peers at the 2013 Golden Globes on Sunday night. Ben and George posed for photos with Jon Hamm while Anne shared a moment with her Les Misérables costar — and fellow Globe winner — Hugh Jackman. Both Ben and George had love for their leading ladies. Ben shared a sweet kiss with wife Jennifer Garner, while George had a moment with both host Amy Poehler and his own girlfriend Stacy Keibler. The Silver Linings Playbook crew, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and director David O. Russell, looked cozy at their table.

It was a big night for TV and film stars as they hit the red carpet for the 2013 Golden Globes on Sunday. Best supporting actress nominee Anne Hathaway chose a white Chanel look for her big night while presenter Kate Hudson went sexy in a plunging Alexander McQueen. Jennifer Lawrence, who picked up the award for best actress in a musical or comedy, brought a bright note with her Dior Haute Couture gown. Homeland's Claire Danes showed off her postbaby body in a red halter by Versace with her husband, Hugh Dancy, by her side, and Jennifer Lopez took the stage to present in a lacy Zuhair Murad number. The 2013 Golden Globes were full of excitement and emotion in LA on Sunday night. Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler kept the evening light with their jokes and antics, like Amy nuzzling with George Clooney in the audience and the two of them likening Kathryn Bigelow's short-lived marriage to James Cameron to "torture." Other stars also got some big laughs as well, including presenter Aziz Ansari, who pretended to be stoned from Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery's weed cookies. Sacha Baron Cohen gave a mini roast of his Les Misérables costars, when he joked about Anne Hathaway's infamous upskirt incident and sarcastically remarked that Russell Crowe's singing lessons in preparation for the film was "money well spent." Jodie Foster came out while accepting her Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, moving many attendees to tears.
The show was also full of some big, surprising wins. Ben Affleck nabbed best director for Argo after getting shut out of the category for the Oscar nominations on Thursday, and Argo also won best drama motion picture over Lincoln. Hugh Jackman picked up the best actor in a comedy or musical honor, beating out favorite Bradley Cooper. Most winners broke down into happy tears while accepting their awards, including Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, and Lena Dunham. Lena got particularly emotional while admitting that she had looked up to her fellow best actress nominees when she was younger and that they helped her get through awkward moments. Always quick to add a joke, nominees Tina and Amy joked that they were happy they could get the young Lena "through middle school." Sofia Vergara made a splash on the red carpet on the Golden Globes red carpet this evening when she posed with Ben Affleck. She wore a black beaded gown from Michael Cinco. In recent years, Sofia's been a staple at the Globes thanks to the success of her show, Modern Family, though she's never earned a Globe for her individual work — but this is her fourth consecutive nomination! Today could change all that, though, since she's in the running to win best supporting actress in a TV series, miniseries, or made-for-TV movie against Nashville's Hayden Panettiere, The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi, Game Change's Sarah Paulson, and Maggie Smith of Downton Abbey. Modern Family is up for a total of three awards.
Sofia's known for her curve-hugging gowns — do you think tonight's ranks among her best? In addition to sharing your thoughts on Sofia's ensemble, cast your vote in all of our Golden Globes style polls!
