Zendaya is officially a Golden Globe winner! Even though she couldn't attend the 10 Jan. ceremony to pick up her best actress in drama trophy herself, she's still honoured to have won. On Tuesday night, the "Euphoria" star shared a black and white photo of her character, Rue, on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there tonight, but I just wanted to say thank you to @goldenglobes for this incredible honour," she began. "To my fellow nominees, it is a privilege to be named beside you, I admire you all deeply. Thank you to my 'Euphoria' family, without you, none of this is possible."

Zendaya continued, "Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has allowed Rue into theirs. I think everyone knows how much she means to me, but the fact that she can mean something to someone else is a gift. I'm honestly at a loss for words as I type this, all I can say is thank you thank you thank you. Goodnight♥️."

The "Euphoria" star has also won two best actress Emmys for her portrayal of Rue, and on 11 Jan., she was nominated for her first SAG Award. She shared her excitement for her latest nomination in an Instagram Story. "Oh wow...this is so special," she wrote above the announcement. Zendaya was nominated alongside Jennifer Coolidge ("The White Lotus"), Elizabeth Debicki ("The Crown"), Julia Garner ("Ozark"), and Laura Linney ("Ozark") in the best female actor in a drama series category.

While Zendaya was the first Golden Globes winner of the night who wasn't in attendance at the ceremony, she wasn't the last. Other winners who missed the award show included Kevin Costner (who was sheltering in place due to the storms in California), Cate Blanchett, and Amanda Seyfried.
