Update: Kim's sister Khloé Kardashian confirmed the baby news on Sunday, tweeting, "I can not even begin 2describe the miracle that is now apart of our family. Mommy/baby are healthy &resting. We appreciate all of the love. . . . More info will come when the time is right!" Kris Jenner also confirmed the news on Twitter around the same time that Khloé wrote her tweet, wishing Kanye a happy Father's Day.

Kim Kardashian has given birth to her first child with Kanye West. The baby, a girl, was born Saturday at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills. News of Kim going into labor broke today after Kanye reportedly skipped out on a record-listening party for his newest album, Yeezus, in LA on Friday. According to Us Weekly, the birth came less than four weeks ahead of Kim's expected due date of July 11 after Kim "felt sick" and went into labor. Last Sunday, Kim revealed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she suffered from appendicitis when she was five months pregnant.

Kim and Kanye have been dating since April 2012 after being friends for many years. The two announced that they were expecting their first child during Kanye's concert in Atlantic City in late December. Kim confirmed that she was giving birth to a girl earlier this month during the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. While Kanye has been busy promoting Yeezus, Kim has remained in LA as she prepared for the final weeks of her pregnancy. Kanye stopped his performance, pointed to Kim in the audience, and said, "Make some noise for my baby mama." Kim confirmed the news this morning on her personal blog, noting, "It's true! Kanye and I are expecting a baby." Kim continued, "Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and starting a family."

Kim and Kanye began dating earlier this year, although the two had been friends for several years. Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian tweeted about the happy news shortly after Kanye made his announcement, saying, "Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!" Khloé Kardashian also joined in the celebrations over Twitter, tweeting, "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members."

Celebrities and rock stars joined up to help out with the 12/12/12 concert benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims in NYC last night. Katie Holmes, Kristen Stewart, and Blake Lively appeared at the event, which raised money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Blake donned a bright orange Isabel Marant dress, while Katie picked blue Tom Ford and Kristen wore a neon yellow Jonathan Simkhai getup.

Katie joined Jason Sudeikis to present a video called "Red Hook Rising," bringing attention to those affected in Brooklyn. Kristen, meanwhile, praised New Jerseyans and introduced Jon Bon Jovi. Blake spoke about Connecticut and brought out Chris Martin, who performed with Michael Stipe. Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and many more musicians performed at the 12/12/12 concert. Paul McCartney gave a sensational performance when he joined up with the surviving members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, to perform a new song called "Cut Me Some Slack."

The concert was broadcast both on TV and for free in movie theaters in the tri-state area, so Sandy victims had a place to enjoy the music. Superstorm Sandy left many in New York and New Jersey homeless and without power after it drove through the area in late October.
