Kim Kardashian made her first appearance at a Met Gala on boyfriend Kanye West's arm this evening, and she's already on the receiving end of a fair amount of criticism for her floral full-coverage Givenchy dress. Kim's attendance at the event was news enough after rumors that Anna Wintour banned her from the Met Gala last year. This time, she was on Kanye's arm, and the two even reportedly went to dinner at Anna's house last night. Just now inside the Met Gala, Kanye defended Kim during his onstage performance. Model Coco Rocha tweeted a Vine video clip, saying, "Kanye telling Kim not to worry what anyone says that she's awesome. Quite touching really."

Kate posed solo once she arrived at the soiree, then linked up with her husband, Jamie Hince, to make the rounds and say hello to other guests that included Jessica Alba, Amanda Seyfried, Jessica Chastain, Kanye West, and a whole host of fashion-world celebs. Kate may have called it an early night — she was on the runway in the Louis Vuttion Fall 2013 show this morning to support another of her designer pals, Marc Jacobs.

Kim Kardashian hosted a bash at Las Vegas's 1 Oak nightclub last night. She was joined by boyfriend Kanye West and her mom Kris Jenner as well as pals Brittny Gastineau, John Legend, and Chrissy Teigen. Kim and Kanye had even more than just the New Year to celebrate since they announced over the weekend that they're expecting their first child together. It doesn't look like Kim's pregnancy has slowed her down since she's been on the go in recent days. She traveled to Atlantic City, where Kanye performed, and then headed back to LA yesterday before making her first public appearance in Sin City since the exciting news. Kim shared that she hasn't had any morning sickness, adding, "People always say it's easy and fun. It's definitely an adjustment, learning about your body and stuff like that. I've been feeling really good, so that's good."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their first child together! Kanye made the announcement on Sunday night during his concert at Revel in Atlantic City. Kanye stopped his performance, pointed to Kim in the audience, and said, "Make some noise for my baby mama." Kim confirmed the news this morning on her personal blog, noting, "It's true! Kanye and I are expecting a baby." Kim continued, "Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and starting a family."

Kim and Kanye began dating earlier this year, although the two had been friends for several years. Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian tweeted about the happy news shortly after Kanye made his announcement, saying, "Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!" Khloé Kardashian also joined in the celebrations over Twitter, tweeting, "Keeping secrets is hard with so many family members."

Celebrities and rock stars joined up to help out with the 12/12/12 concert benefiting Hurricane Sandy victims in NYC last night. Katie Holmes, Kristen Stewart, and Blake Lively appeared at the event, which raised money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund. Blake donned a bright orange Isabel Marant dress, while Katie picked blue Tom Ford and Kristen wore a neon yellow Jonathan Simkhai getup.

Katie joined Jason Sudeikis to present a video called "Red Hook Rising," bringing attention to those affected in Brooklyn. Kristen, meanwhile, praised New Jerseyans and introduced Jon Bon Jovi. Blake spoke about Connecticut and brought out Chris Martin, who performed with Michael Stipe. Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, and many more musicians performed at the 12/12/12 concert. Paul McCartney gave a sensational performance when he joined up with the surviving members of Nirvana, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, to perform a new song called "Cut Me Some Slack."

The concert was broadcast both on TV and for free in movie theaters in the tri-state area, so Sandy victims had a place to enjoy the music. Superstorm Sandy left many in New York and New Jersey homeless and without power after it drove through the area in late October.

SJP and Kanye gathered inside 5 Beekman Street, an under-construction spot formerly known as Temple Court which will soon become a hotel. They mingled with other celeb attendees like Julianne Moore and her husband, Bart Freundlich. There were plenty of models in attendance, too, and we caught up with Doutzen Kroes on her way in. She spoke about her excitement for the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and also touched on her and husband Sunnery James's plans for Halloween with their one-and-a-half-year-old son, Phyllon. She said, "I'll probably put him in an outfit this year!" The stars were treated to an interesting evening full of performance art, Champagne, and a chance to shop the collection. The full Margiela For H&M line is available in stores Nov. 15.

A lot of attention was paid when Beyoncé and Kim K were spotted at a Watch the Throne concert together last weekend, and it seems that the women are actually on good terms. On her other side, Beyoncé had her sister Solange Knowles. Earlier in the show, Kanye hit the stage with his GOOD crew to perform their new single, "Mercy," and he also stole the spotlight for a moment with an a cappella freestyle rap. Kanye and Jay-Z kept their hot streak going strong by winning best group.

Kanye brought girlfriend Kim Kardashian along for the event, and afterwards she tweeted her excitement over his statues and performance. Kanye joined his GOOD Crew to sing "Mercy" — which includes the now-famous lyric about falling in love with Kim — and he then segued into "Way Too Cold" and a freestyle rap. When Kanye was on stage to accept the video of the year award for "Otis," Jay-Z actually surprised him on stage, poking fun at the infamous "Imma let you finish" MTV Movie Awards moment from a couple years ago. Jay bombarded Kanye with a big hug, to which Kanye responded, "I'm trying to defend your girl!" about the incident. Kanye West posed with a Balmain-clad Kim Kardashian at the Belvedere-sponsored premiere of his Cruel Summer in Cannes this evening. Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio's pal Lukas Haas were also on hand for the event, which was Kanye's first at the Cannes Film Festival. Kanye said of the production, "It's actually kind of surreal seeing the film come to fruition right here. I can dream one day that this will be the way that one day people will watch movies. I want to change what entertainment experiences are like."

Kim and Kanye spent the day together in the South of France and stuck by each other's side for tonight's bash as well. We spotted them showing serious PDA and kissing throughout the party. Jay-Z, meanwhile, snacked on sushi and bobbed his head when the DJ played Beyoncé's "Love on Top." Some of Jay-Z's own jams provided the soundtrack for the big night as well.
