You may not be able to find products in the sea of every other beauty brands available, or maybe the confusing beauty product symbols mean you aren't sure whether a brand is actually vegan. We've done the hard work for you by seeking out some of the best vegan brands available to give you a complete vegan beauty range, so you can shop with confidence. Clean Beauty Co is a modern and luxury skincare brand built on high performance natural ingredients. They believe that "everyone should be empowered to take control over what they put on their skin."

We recommend: The Babe Balm (£28) as an all rounder every vegan girl needs in her beauty stash and the Clean Beauty Book (£18) to stay savvy about product ingredients.

100% Pure was founded in 2005, with the aim to provide healthy skin care, cosmetics, and bath and body products. 100% Pure promises the products are "natural and 100% cruelty-free, 100% free of artificial colours, artificial fragrances, synthetic chemical preservatives, and all other toxins."

We recommend: Gemmed Luminizer: Moonstone Glow (£27), Liquid lipsticks (£19).

Rawgaia was created by product formulator Jessica Michael due to her deep passion for developing pure, cold pressed, organic, natural, superfood skincare products. All of the products are handmade in small batches with the fresh sea air breezing through the factory in Brighton!

Many people aren't aware that this Boots favourite has always been vegan, and it's extremely affordable. From their nail polish to their contour palettes, they've got a wide range of colour choices to suit all.

We recommend: The Barry M Nail polish ranging from £3-£5 and I love the Hydro Fix Primer Water (£5). I'm on my third bottle and it is a much cheaper option than most water primers.

Tropic is a skincare range that was the brain child of Susan Ma and after appearing on The Apprentice in 2011 she became a 50/50 partner with Alan Sugar. The Tropic pure ethos states "we love animals and care about their welfare, so we will never test on them or cause them distress by using derivatives such as lanolin, beeswax, or honey." The products are so pure you could almost eat them, (but please don't.)

I'd been using Eco Tools for months before realising that they were actually eco-friendly, I just knew they were really great brushes. We recommend: Stem Cellular CC Cream (£24) with reviewers saying they are a "customer for life" after trying this product. As well as, the Stem Cellular Anti-wrinkle Moisturiser (£42).

Sukin is proud to be a leading brand identifying that “skincare that doesn’t cost the earth.” Its products use highly efficient ingredients, whilst maintaining a low cost to make the transition to vegan affordable for all.

Gressa was born from a family history of herbalism, with the aim to transcend green beauty by breaking the stereotype of the word green and creating a brand that is both green and glamorous. Inika was "born out of a need to detox" which resonated with conscious consumers that were committed to removing chemicals and toxins from both their food and beauty products. Inika is pure and natural but doesn't compromise on limited makeup ranges or pigments.

Yarok means green in Hebrew and was exactly what founder Mordechai Alvow wanted to convey through his product range.
