Full of staples that novices and experts alike love, I've fallen in absolute lust with the Universal Face & Body Primer ($36) — and frankly, primers are not my type, usually, but it won me over. The consistency reminds me a lot of my favourite skin care products: it's creamy, dries down nicely and mattifies without making my skin dry. It does contain silicone, but it melts into the skin instead of sitting on top like many silicone-based primers do.
