Dr. Michelle Henry

Michelle Henry, MD, is a New York City-based dermatologist at the Laser & Skin Surgery Centre of New York and clinical instructor of dermatology at Weill Medical College.

Morning: Dr. Henry likes to keep her skin-care routine simple. To start, she washes her face in the morning with the Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester Citrus Brightening Cleanser ($35), which is designed for oily and combination skin types. Then she tones with the PCA Skin Hydrating Toner ($40).

To brighten the skin and protect against free radicals and pollution, she uses the BeautyStat Universal C Skin Refiner Serum ($80) before layering on her moisturiser of choice, the Tatcha The Water Cream Oil-Free Pore Minimizing Moisturiser ($20).

Last but not least comes SPF. Her favourite is the EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 ($36), which is a transparent formula that's suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin.

Evening: At night Dr. Henry cleanses with the CeraVe Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser ($18) and uses the same PCA toner. After that comes her Altreno retinol (which is prescription) and the Dior La Micro-Huile de Rose Advanced Serum ($380). To moisturise, she uses the SkinCeuticals Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 ($128).
