The key ingredients in this cleanser are spearmint extract to refresh skin, red algae extract to reduce oil, aloe leaf juice to reduce redness, and lavender flower water to soothe. It's a thin gel formula sans fragrance that works into a light lather when it comes into contact with water. After using it, my skin felt comfortable and clean but not dry or tight.
