Las Vegas is well-known for welcoming wild trips, unspeakable memories, and, of course, impromptu weddings! Thanks to Nevada's easy marriage laws and the city's abundance of "quickie" chapels, it's been a hot spot for celebrity nuptials for decades now.

Over the years, the allure of Sin City's spontaneous energy has attracted celebrity pairings from Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, to name a few. But that's just a snapshot of the star-studded weddings that have been officiated in the wedding capital of the world.

While some marriages — like Angelina Jolie's elopement with Billy Bob Thornton and Cindy Crawford's union to Richard Gere — have come and gone, others, like Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos's marriage, have stood the test of time. 1. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wed in a small ceremony in Las Vegas on 16 July, 2022 after obtaining their marriage licence in Clark County, Nevada.

2. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married with an Elvis Presley impersonator present at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on 4 April, 2022. However, their marriage wasn't legal at the time because they were unable to obtain a marriage licence. Kardashian later noted that the ceremony was a "practice" run in a photo series she shared via Instagram. They officially got married in front of friends and family in Portofino, Italy on 22 May, 2022.

3. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tied the knot with an Elvis Presley officiator in Las Vegas in May 2019, the same weekend as the Billboard Music Awards. The ceremony streamed live via Instagram thanks to wedding attendee Diplo.

Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth got married at a Las Vegas chapel in October 2016, complete with an Elvis Presley officiator, fog machine, and hula dancer.

Nicolas Cage married Riko Shibata in a "very small and intimate wedding at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas" on 16 February, 2021, People reported. It was Cage's second Vegas wedding — he married his ex Erika Koike in March 2019 but filed for an annulment four days later.

Pamela Anderson married longtime friend Rick Salomon at the Mirage Hotel in Sin City back in October 2007. Two months later, Pamela filed for divorce, and the union was later annulled. In January 2014, she revealed the two had gotten remarried, but she filed for divorce again in February 2015.
