The Ways Harry and Meghan Honoured Princess Diana at Their Wedding Will Warm Your Heart

Family, friends, and 1,200 members of the public were there to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, and although the day was an incredibly happy one, it will no doubt have been a day of mixed emotions for the family due to the absence of the late Princess Diana. Despite the Princess of Wales not being there to watch the couple get married, Harry and Meghan made sure to honour her in a number of ways on their big day.

Ahead are just some of the sweet ways the newlyweds ensured Princess Diana's memory was kept alive at their wedding.

The Bouquet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spent time with florist Philippa Craddock creating a perfect bouquet. Prince Harry handpicked several flowers yesterday from their private garden at Kensington Palace including Forget-Me-Nots, Diana's favourite flower.

Lady Jane Fellowes

Lady Jane Fellowes, Princess Diana's sister, gave a reading from the Song of Solomon during the ceremony, which was earlier announced by Kensington Palace with a statement from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle saying they "feel honoured that Lady Jane will be representing her family and helping to celebrate the memory of the late Princess on the wedding day."

The Vows
