12 Pop Culture Moments That Made 2020 a Little More Bearable

We've finally reached the end of 2020, and boy, what a year it was! Even though we experienced some of the toughest times of our lives, there were a handful of pop culture moments that helped us make it through. Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited not once but twice — yes, that happened this year! Jennifer Lopez and Shakira made the Latinx community feel seen with their statement-making Super Bowl halftime show performance, and Beyoncé put out "a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black experience" with Black Is King. Oh, and did you think we forgot about Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" collaboration? We're still fanning ourselves from it! See, 2020 wasn't all that bad. The female-empowerment anthem heard all around the world. Not only did it debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100, but it also did so with 93 million US streams, which is the most ever for a song in its opening week. Yep, Cardi and Megan did that!

To be exact, they took home a whopping nine awards and set the Emmy record for number of awards won by a comedy in a single season.

The second instalment of her sexy lingerie show included appearances by Lizzo, Bella Hadid, and Indya Moore, as well as performances by Rosalía, Ella Mai, Bad Bunny, and Travis Scott. When will your fave?

And Kamala Harris made history as the nation's first woman vice president! This was hands down the best news of the year.

The Queen of Christmas spread some holiday cheer by giving us what we needed: a reading list, a powerhouse collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, a Christmas playlist, and a star-studded Christmas special. Thank you, Mariah!
