Rumer Willis Declares Bruce "the Best Girl Dad" Alongside Photo of Him With Granddaughter

While Father's Day is special for all dads, Bruce Willis really felt the love. In a number of Instagram tributes from his family, 18 June was made extra special as his loved ones shared their feelings about him following his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. His daughter, Rumer, who welcomed her first child, Louetta, with musician Derek Richard Thomas in April, posted heart-warming photos of her famous father hugging the family's new addition.

"Fathers to the old and new. Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I'm so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game…." she captioned the social media post, before going on to wish Thomas the best first father's day.

Bruce's wife, Emma Heming Willis, and his ex-wife, Demi Moore, also made tributes to their favourite girl dad. "Father's Day is a time I get to reflect on my deep appreciation and respect I have for Bruce as I watch him father our little ones," Emma wrote alongside a photo of Bruce with one of his young daughters on Instagram. "Where it might not be 'conventional,' what he's teaching them will span generations. Unconditional love, kindness, strength, compassion, patience, generosity, resilience. Happy Father's Day to the greatest dad I know, who will forever be the gift that keeps giving within our family."

Emma and Bruce share two daughters together: Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, 9. He also has three adult daughters — Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah — with Moore, who shared her own post in appreciation of the super dad in her children's lives. "Forever grateful to you BW for giving me these three beautiful girls. We love our #girldad. Happy Father's Day!" Moore captioned a candid black and white photo of Bruce with their three daughters when they were younger.

Victoria Beckham shared a carousel of photos featuring her husband with their kids on Instagram. "Happy Father's Day @davidbeckham," she captioned her post. "You really are our 'everything' we love you so so much."

Gwyneth Paltrow gave Chris Marin, her ex and the father of her children Apple and Moses, a special shoutout in her Instagram Stories. "And Happy Fathers [sic] Day to this guy," she captioned a photo of her, Martin, and their kids.

Paltrow also devoted several slides to her husband Brad Falchuk, who shares Isabella and Brody with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik. "Happy Father's Day to our Brad Falchuk," Paltrow captioned a photo of her husband with Isabella. She continued, "He is the greatest. Great dog dad. Great step dad."
