Jennifer Aniston (2011-2017)

Theroux and Aniston met on the set of "Tropic Thunder" in 2007, but it wasn't until four years later that rumours swirled they had become a couple. It all began in May 2011 when People reported that Theroux and Aniston had grabbed dinner together in Los Angeles. Although sources claimed to People that they were just "great friends," they noted the pair was acting "flirty" toward each other. That June, the dating rumours only intensified when Us Weekly reported the stars had moved in together and that Aniston was introducing Theroux as her boyfriend. Just a few weeks later, the couple officially went public with their romance when Theroux accompanied Aniston to her handprint ceremony at TCL Chinese Theatre in July.

After a year of dating, Theroux and Aniston took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged in August 2012. "Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage," a rep for Theroux told People at the time.

The couple eventually tied the knot in August 2015. According to People, Theroux and Aniston said "I do" in the backyard of their Bel Air home with 74 of their closest friends and family in attendance. Those included Aniston's "Friends" costars like Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, as well as other major celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Sandra Bullock, and Chelsea Handler.

Theroux and Aniston were married for two years before they announced their split in February 2018. In their joint statement, the pair revealed they had broken up at the end of 2017. "We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship," they said.
