JAY-Z addressed his feud with Kanye West on the sixth track, rapping, "I ain't goin' to nobody nothin' when me and my wife beefin' / I don't care if the house on fire, I'm dyin', n*gga, I ain't leavin'." The lyric is a direct reference to West's interview he gave back in May revealing he was "hurt that [Beyoncé and JAY-Z] didn't come" to his wedding in 2014. According to the Brooklyn native, fixing things at home with his wife was more pressing and "[if] y'all don't understand that, we ain't meant to be friends."
