Shortly after Thalia confesses to her business partner Rea that she has a secret lover in France, she begins to receive notes threatening to reveal the affair. Thalia refuses to heed Rea's warnings not to pursue the blackmailer and soon turns up murdered in a local park. Rea is convinced it is connected to the person behind the blackmail, but police are more suspicious of her than some anonymous notes.
