1972's Deliverance is less horror than it is thriller, but it's still worth a watch: outdoorsman Lewis (Burt Reynolds) takes his city friends on a canoeing trip on the the Cahulawassee River, but they soon discover some of the residents in the backwoods locale are less than thrilled by their arrival.
