Jessica Jones is what Veronica would look like if she continued investigating cases as an adult (which she does) and gained superhuman strength. The Netflix Marvel series follows a wisecracking and cynical private investigator who tracks down her former abuser in order to save Hell's Kitchen from the path of his destruction.
