Johnny Galecki — aka lovably nerdy physicist Leonard Hofstadter — will continue playing David on the Roseanne spinoff, The Conners, which will return for its second season this Fall, though most likely as a recurring character, as he's not quite ready to become a series regular on any TV show just yet. "I certainly hope to visit as much as possible," he said. "That's kind of my second home . . . I still have a bit of a high school crush on that character."
Galecki is also executive producing a new CBS series, Bait & Tackle, alongside Stuck In the Middle co-creator and executive producer Linda Figueiredo and musician Brian Kelley. The series revolves around three adult siblings who must team up to run their family's bait and tackle shop after their father retires.
