What you're in for: For whatever reason, Eli Roth decided to remake his 2002 gore-fest Cabin Fever starring Rider Strong over again in 2016 with a handful of Hollywood newcomers. Luckily the premise — and gross-out factor — remains the same in both: a group of teens heads to a lakeside cabin one weekend and end up contracting a deadly, flesh-eating virus that wipes them out one by one.
Notable gore: In addition to all the body horror courtesy of the virus, a woman is mauled to death by a rabid dog, someone is beaten in the head with a shovel, and another is lit on fire. A great weekend getaway, all around!
