Miller plays Caroline, a famous interior designer whose efforts to get her child into college cross way too many lines. Ironically enough, Miller, who has a length résumé in both film and television, has a connection to the real college admissions scandal: in 2015, she starred alongside Felicity Huffman in the drama series American Crime.
