We meet Jonas in the first episode of 1984 and he's our first real clue that something at Camp Redwood is wonky — supernaturally wonky. He seems to have amnesia and a bad habit of saying vaguely creepy things that freak everyone out. And there's his weird little quirk of not staying dead. It's enough to unnerve the Night Stalker into seeking answers from Margaret, which is how we learn that Jonas is a ghost! He was a camp counsellor during the 1970 massacre and tried to run, getting killed by who he assumes was Mr. Jingles. Now, he wanders the grounds of the camp, perpetually living out his last night on Earth, running from Mr. Jingles.
