Dolly Parton (Jan. 19) has always been known as one of the most hardworking artists in the business (she even wrote a song about it!). Born in poverty, Parton carved out a space for herself in the world, performing on radio stations as a child and eventually finding success as a songwriter first. The writer of songs such as "I Will Always Love You" (yes, that one!) and the forever favourite "Jolene," Parton is still showcasing her Capricorn ambition today at 73 years old, releasing Heartstrings, a Netflix series about her songs and some of her life, performing at festivals, and collaborating with other artists (she was even set to remix "Old Town Road," which isn't happening anymore, but really wish it was!).
