This psychological thriller stars Sally Field and Ed Harris as the parents of a teenage girl who's ruthlessly killed by an intruder (played by Kiefer Sutherland). Though the police assure her parents they'll do everything they can to bring the man to justice, the mother decides she'd rather take matters into her own hands.
