A low-key race car driver and his mechanic best friend end up owning a quirky VW Beetle that seems to have a personality of its own. The duo and their new car, named "Herbie," soar to the top of their sport, which puts them squarely in the crosshairs of an unscrupulous car dealer. It's a sweetly cheesy throwback movie with '60s retro flair.
