When her politican husband is caught up in a sex and finance scandal, Alicia has to resume her long-abandoned career as a lawyer in order to take care of her family while her husband is in prison. She finds an ally (and possibly more) in an old friend from law school, but she needs all her wits to stay afloat in the increasingly tangled world of politics and law in Chicago.
