Football and family provide the backbone of The Longshots, a movie about a former football player (Ice Cube) who takes a job coaching a team that needs to break their losing streak. The coach isn't alone though, he adds his niece (Keke Palmer) to the roster as the quarterback, a move that instantly challenges the team's status quo.
