Loosely based on the story of Romeo and Juliet, this '80s rom-com revolves around spoiled San Fernando Valley teen Julie, who — even though she has a boyfriend, Tommy — falls for edgy punk Randy from Hollywood after meeting him at a party. Julie must then decide between staying with Tommy and her superficial life or taking a risk with Randy.
