A spinoff of the classic Evil Dead films, Ash vs. the Evil Dead picks up long after the movies ended. An ageing Ash is not at all interested in fighting off the Evil Dead, and he has long since retied his chainsaw. However, destiny has other ideas for the reluctant hero when he inadvertently releases a Deadite plague.
