This episode is known as the formal holiday episode in Schitt's Creek. Johnny throws a Christmas party similar to the parties the family used to throw and is able to get his family members on board despite their reluctance. However, after a lot of mishaps, the Roses struggle to get into the holiday spirit. Don't worry, though: The ending is a happy one filled with Christmas cheer, love, and thoughtfulness. The holidays can be a struggle for families for several reasons, in which this episode is a heartwarming breath of fresh air.
