In a far-off future, humans rely on a valuable substance called "spice" to extend life, give superhuman mental capacities, and enable travel faster than lightspeed. When a nobleman is given stewardship over the desert planet where spice is mined, he takes his family with him, and they soon become entangled in a complicated web of betrayals and shifting loyalties on a dangerous planet. The all-star cast includes Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Timothée Chalamet as his son Paul, and Rebecca Ferguson as Paul's mother Jessica. Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa also play major roles in this much-anticipated adaptation.
