The video picks up right where "Cardigan" left off as Swift sits in front of a piano with a cosy cardigan on. Since Evermore is the sister album of Folklore, the connection between the two music videos couldn't be more perfect. The scene also seems to be a nod to the "Exile" lyric, "I think I've seen this film before."
