ITV confirmed that filming has finally begun for its adaptation of The Confessions of Frannie Langton. Adapted by the book's author Sara Collins, it's set to be a four-part period drama that follows a young protagonist born into a life of slavery, fighting to tell her own story.
A number of cast members have already been announced, including the likes of Karla-Simone Spence, Sophie Cookson, and Patrick Martins.
The release date for The Confessions of Frannie Langton is still TBC.
