Forced to spend summer in Georgia with her brother and estranged father, troubled musician Ronnie can't wait to go back home to New York. She's cold to everyone around her and despises life in the small beach town she's trapped in. When she discovers a nest of turtle eggs, she meets Will, a volunteer at the local aquarium. It's been a long time since Ronnie has opened up her heart to anybody, even her own parents, but when Will comes into her life, she feels like she's finally able to love again.
