On May 12, Deadline reported that Monáe would be joining the cast in an undisclosed role. While we don't know whether or not she'll be one of the many suspects Craig's Benoit Blanc is investigating, we do know she's going to do an excellent job. The singer's most recent acting roles include Veronica Henley/Eden in Antebellum, Dorothy Pitman Hughes in The Glorias, and Jacqueline Calico/Alex Eastern on Homecoming.
