Of course, we have to include Madeline Miller's second book, "Circe" (£9), a retelling of "The Odyssey" from Circe's point of view. Although it's not a sequel to "Song of Achilles," it's better to read that one first before tackling this gorgeous piece of prose. (Be warned, there are a few graphic scenes in this book.)
