Based on the short story "Secretary" by Mary Gaitskill, this hilariously perverse flick stars Maggie Gyllenhaal as a shy, sensitive woman named Lee who becomes the secretary for an eccentric attorney (played by James Spader) and soon finds herself swept into a wild BDSM relationship that eventually blossoms into something like love. Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey have nothing on these two.
