In the fifth season of this animated series, "love and hate" are the big themes, as "lovebugs" and "hate worms" shift back and forth and nudge the characters to take risks, both good and bad. The result is a lot of unrequited love and more than a little jealousy as the characters try to make it through eighth grade.
