Set in colonial America, The Witch follows a family banished from their Puritan town and forced to relocate to a farm on the edge of a secluded forest. When a witch kidnaps the family's newborn, eyes turn to Thomasin, the eldest child who was with the baby at the time. As more oddities crop up around Thomasin, her parents grow increasingly concerned that she has been touched by the devil.
