Miranda continues to settle into the Brooklyn suburbs as she balances work, parenting, and her marriage to Steve after tying the knot in the Sex and the City series. By Sex and the City 2, the high-powered attorney ditches her job due to her misogynistic boss and jets off to Abu Dhabi with her best friends for a change of pace. Miranda also consults Carrie about whether to tell Big about kissing Aidan (as we all remember, she has experience with infidelity thanks to Steve's affair in the first Sex and the City movie). By the end of Sex and the City 2, Miranda is back in Brooklyn and joins a new and diverse law firm where she is finally appreciated.
