According to the show's official synopsis, The Book of Boba Fett will follow Boba and Fennec as they navigate the galaxy's underworld after they return to the desert planet of Tatooine and take over the throne once ruled by Jabba the Hutt.
In a June 10 interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Morrison teased the show will answer questions about Boba's past. "Well, we can't say too much, but we're going to see his past and where he's been since The Empire Strikes Back," he said. "Somebody pointed out he's been kind of stuck in this one place, and now's the time to actually go back in time and check out his journey and find out more about him."
This means fans might finally find out how Boba survived being swallowed by Jabba's Sarlacc creature in Return of the Jedi and how he came to lose his armour.
