Dolly Parton has been in the business of delivering incredible music for decades, and her latest release, Run, Rose, Run, available on March 7, 2022, is no exception. The album will accompany the release of the "Jolene" singer's first novel, co-written with author James Patterson. The novel will include "heart-wrenching" lyrics from the songs off of Parton's new album, which are "essential to the story," according to her website.
Set in Nashville, the book will tell the story of a young woman with a brutal secret who has set out to turn her music-making dreams into a reality. "I cannot be more excited about the release of my very first novel," Parton said. "I hope you enjoy the book and the songs as much as we've enjoyed putting it together."
