Tyler is based in Brooklyn, New York, and most notably known in the fashion industry for his 2018 Vogue Beyoncé cover, marking the first time a Black photographer was enlisted to shoot American Vogue — and for the September issue, at that. Tyler's goal is to "explore and document a new aesthetic of Blackness," according to his site.
