Michelle Williams plays Cindy in 2010's Blue Valentine, who somehow manages to pull off a red checkered shirt with a knee-length denim skirt and lug sole boots. Come to think of it, though, I love the off-duty appeal of a buttoned-up, untucked plaid with a touch of denim.
