As fans know, the series starts out in the 1950's with a black-and-white story á la I Love Lucy. We see Wanda wearing tea-length dresses with bows and pearls. An especially lovely scene comes right at the beginning of the first episode, where Wanda and Vision waltz into their home wearing their wedding outfits.
"The suit Vision wears and the wedding dress we made for Wanda for the opening titles were my favourite creations from that episode," Mayes revealed. "They were both made from scratch, and Paul loved the suit and tie so much he was sad it couldn't be used for the whole episode. Wanda's dress was a beautiful homage to Audrey Hepburn."
