The seventh episode as a whole draws heavily from Modern Family. Wanda's at-home style could be connected to Claire Dunphy, but it's also a reflection of her emotional state in this episode. Things are falling apart in the "oasis" she created for herself. Costumes and appearances are no longer the priority, and quite frankly, may no longer be in her control.
