Keto Snacks at Walt Disney World

10 Keto-Friendly Snacks You Can Find at Walt Disney World (Because This Place Is Magic)

A trip to Walt Disney World just isn't complete without indulging in all of the best snacks the happiest place on earth has to offer. Whether you've just started the keto diet or have managed to stay in ketosis for a while now, you need to show up to Disney World with a plan — or at least a bag of nuts and one or two avocados on your person. In all seriousness, the keto diet isn't easy to keep up with, especially when you have churros, ice cream, and french fries tempting you on every corner.

Lucky for you, we've rounded up 10 keto-friendly snacks at Disney World, including that Instagram-worthy turkey leg, giant pickles, and cheese plates for days. Keep reading for our picks!

If you've been to Disney World (or any Disney park for that matter), you're familiar with the massive turkey legs. They're practically a park staple for meat eaters, and thankfully, you don't have to miss out if you're on the keto diet.

Swap your boring bag of raw almonds for trail mix from Chip & Dale Snack Company. A bag contains almonds, sunflower seeds, cashews, and pumpkin kernels, as well as raisins — the only element you'll want to avoid, since dried fruit is high in carbs.

Ditch your usual pork rinds for a serving of Barbecue Chicharróns at the Golden Oak Outpost in Magic Kingdom. An order of the seasoned, fried pork rinds will cost you just $4.50, which, in our opinion, is an invitation to head back for more later on.

Whether you're looking for a mid-day snack or a keto-approved appetizer, cheese plates are by no means a scarcity at Disney World. Sample a cheese plate from a country you've never been to in Disney's Epcot or try fancy, artisanal cheese from Jiko in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Our current daydream? This Charcuterie Palette from Epcot's Canada Pavillion.

Stop by Animal Kingdom's Harambe Market for an allergy-friendly menu you can customize based on your dietary restrictions. For example, this grilled chicken skewer and mixed vegetable salad isn't listed as an option on the menu, but ask and you shall receive.

Dill pickles are very low in carbs, making this giant, refreshing snack ideal for long days spent roaming the parks.

You can never go wrong with an all-beef hot dog sans bun, especially when it's from the beloved Casey's Corner in Magic Kingdom. Hack: order a plain all-beef hot dog and then take full advantage of the condiments area, featuring onions, jalapenos, and sauerkraut. Casey's Corner also offers a Hot Dog of the Month, which, in the past, has included some keto contenders (think: a Greek-inspired hot dog, Philly cheesesteak dog, and pulled-pork-topped dog).

Meet two new additions to Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square: chicken and candied bacon skewers. The sauce on the chicken is a bit of a splurge — and, well, you know anything with the word candied can't be good — but if you're willing to take the hit on your daily carb intake, it's worth it.

Fun fact: Babybel Cheese is the official cheese snack of Disney World, even landing its own activation in Disney's Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios. Also on its resumé: keto-friendliness.

If nothing else, you can always rely on Disney's buffet-style dining to help you throw together a full plate of cheese, meat, veggies — more cheese. The place really is magical, isn't it?
