Another essential piece of gear for a long race is a supportive sports bra. I've been loving Reebok's PureMove Bra ($60) for my long runs. Although it looks like just another compression bra, the cups are more molded than a typical sports bra so I don't feel as constricted to keep things secure, yet comfortable.
